Reiki for Cancer Patients
Open to all cancer residents undergoing treatment and all cancer survivors – by appointment only. What is Reiki? Reiki (ray’key) is a Japanese energy-based technique that provides deep relaxation and supports the body systems toward balance on all levels: body, mind and spirit. Trained volunteer practitioners from St. Charles Cancer Center Integrative Oncology Program will be offering the Reiki treatment. Therapeutic benefits may include reduced stress, an enhanced sense of peace and well-being, increased immune system response, decreased pain, fatigue, tension and anxiety.
